We're proud to announce that Nathan Becker, our training and development specialist, has been recognized as an Emerging Training Leader by Training magazine! This prestigious award acknowledges exceptional L&D professionals who inspire and empower their organizations through innovative training initiatives and exceptional leadership.
Nathan's journey to becoming an award-winning trainer is a testament to his dedication and resourcefulness. Starting as a subject matter expert in extrusion, Nathan actively pursued his training expertise. He leveraged resources like YouTube and the company's LMS to hone his skills, ultimately becoming a pillar of Intek's training department.
Now, Nathan supports a team of over 250 employees, managing a comprehensive training program that spans eight diverse business units. Under his leadership, the department has spearheaded several initiatives.
The impact of Nathan's work goes far beyond training completion rates. In the past year alone, the company has tracked a remarkable 69 production level-ups directly resulting from the department's efforts. Additionally, employee retention has enjoyed a 10% jump, a metric the company attributes to the overall job satisfaction nurtured by its leveling system and career pathing programs, initiatives spearheaded by Nathan's department.
The Emerging Training Leaders award not only recognizes Nathan's remarkable achievements but also highlights the crucial role L&D professionals play in organizational success. As Training magazine's Emerging Training Leaders (ETL) Judge Bruce Jones notes, "without continuous learning and development, there is no growth—personally, professionally, or organizationally."
Nathan Becker exemplifies this philosophy, and Intek Plastics is incredibly fortunate to have him on our team. Congratulations again, Nathan! We're excited to see you continue to soar to new heights in the world of training and development.
