Intek Plastics proudly welcomes Mike Corcoran as its vice president of operations. With an extensive background in operational leadership, Mike will spearhead various crucial aspects of Intek’s business, including research and development, engineering, continuous improvement, supply chain management and plant operations, across Intek’s facilities in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He will seamlessly transition with Rick Zeien, the retiring operations leader, and his team until mid-May.

Previously, Mike served as president and CEO of Encore Medical in Eagan, Minnesota, and spent over two decades at Cardia, Inc., based in Eagan, Minnesota. At Cardia he excelled in various roles, including vice president of operations, director of quality and regulatory affairs, director of engineering and director of manufacturing. Encore and Cardia specialize in providing products to aid individuals with heart defects. Prior to this, Mike held managerial, engineering and manufacturing positions at Applied Biometrics in Burnsville, Minnesota, and Aura Ceramics in New Hope, Minnesota.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
